Can a foreign company acquire property in Turkey?

Foreign companies (foreign legal entities) cannot directly purchase property on their own behalf in Turkey. A foreign legal entity must first establish a company in Turkey and after completing the legal requirements, it can become a Turkish company and become a property owner.

Is it possible to freely own property in Turkey?

How many stakeholders can be in a title document?

A single real estate can be shared by more than one person and a title document can be issued on behalf of each shareholder in proportion to its share. There is no limit to the number of shares and persons that can be written on a single deed.

What happens to the real estate I purchased in case of death?

How long can it take to sell the purchased real estate?
